Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 is Organized at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall

Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 shined with Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, Slam Dunk Contest and All-Star Game.

Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 started with Leaseplan Skills Challenge.

Erkin Şenel (Banvit), Ege Arar (Galatasaray Odeabank), Yiğit Arslan (Tofaş), Moustapha Fall (Sakarya BŞB), Emircan Koşut (Darüşşafaka) and Can Uğur Öğüt (Gaziantep) participated Leaseplan Skills Challenge.

Tofaş player Yiğit Arslan, who completed the final station in 31.0 seconds, became the winner of Leaseplan Skills Challange in Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018. Erkin Şenel got the second place with 41 seconds.

After Leaseplan Skills Challenge, players showed up for ING Bank Three-Point Contest.

Scott Wood (Pınar Karşıyaka), William Baron (Eskişehir), Melih Mahmutoğlu (Fenerbahçe Doğuş), Brady Heslip (Trabzonspor), Ryan Toolson (İstanbul BBSK), Sertaç Şanlı (Beşiktaş Sompo Japan) were the players who participated in ING Bank Three-Point Contest.

Brady Heslip, who scored 23 points in the first round, scored 22 points in the final round and reached the championship in the ING Bank Three-Point Contest.

Then Tahincioğlu Slam Dunk Contest competitors got on the floor.

Adonis Thomas from Banvit, Richard Solomon from Muratbey Uşak, Christopher Obekpa from Trabzonspor, Josh Adams from Beşiktaş Sompo Japan, Erkan Yılmaz from Yeşilgiresun Belediye and Onuralp Bitim from Anadolu Efes competed in the Tahincioğlu Slam Dunk Contest.

First round is completed with Adonis Thomas’ 74 points, Christopher Obekpa’s 81, Erkan Yılmaz’s 81, Richard Solomon’s 89, Josh Adams’s 89 and Onuralp Bitim’s 97.

Anadolu Efes player Onuralp Bitim, who collected a total of 100 points in the final round, reached championship against Josh Adams’ 73 points.

Finally Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 game started.

The game is played in a very high tempo. First half is completed with a tie (70-70). Team Asia got the control of the game in the second half and won the game with 151-142.
Barış Ermiş is selected as the MVP of the game with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists in 26 minutes for Team Asia.

Erving Walker scored 30 for Team Europe with 10/15 shooting from behind the three point line.

Basketball fans showed great interest to Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 which organized in Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. 

While all of the 10.650 tickets were sold for the organization, about 15,000 basketball fans had the chance to follow this spectacular festival at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. The number of tickets that were sold for Tahincioğlu All-Star 2018 has been recorded as a record for the last 15 years.
