Turkey Defeated Poland with 73-53

Turkish Women's National Basketball Team defeated Poland 73-53 in Ankara on their second game in Group B of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers.

Poland started the game with a tough defensive. They were also very effective under the rim in the first quarter with the great offensive decisions of Kaczmarczyk’s. Turkish National Team trailed by 7 in the first quarter (16-9).

With Olcay Çakır Turgut and Cansu Köksal’s performances, Turkey started to the second quarter very strong. Turkish National Team shot the ball very well behind the three point line and they made a 17-3 run in the second quarter. Turkey went to locker room with 5 point lead (35-30).

Turkey continued scoring under the rim and found some easy points at the free throw line in the second half. They did not give a change to Poland and Turkish Women's National Basketball Team won the game 73-53.

Cansu Köksal and Holingsvorth scored 14, most in the game, led Turkey their second victory in Group B.
